Hi I'm Ron Wright

I have gone to school, raised my family and now live with wife as empty nesters in Kaysville Utah since I was 16.

About Me

I have been a member all my life and have always had a strong testimony of the church. I have served and tried to be a good example to my wife and children. I have spent to much time working and trying to provide a good life for my family and now wish I would have spent more time with them. I have 4 beautiful daughters and 3 strong and handsome sons. One son and one daughter are not living the gospel principles, but down deep I think still believe. I love working in my yard trying to make the our home a place the kids and grandkids love to come to. I also thing it my responsibility to take care of the bounties Heavenly Father has give me. Even though I am past retirement time I am still working and trying to decide when the best time will be to turn to the next page of my life. I would love to go on a mission with my wife and spend time in a church history site telling people about my love for the gospel and the blessing that come from living a life that Jesus would have each of us live. I pray each day for inspiration related to the direction Heavenly Father would have me go.

Why I am a Mormon

As I think about the question why am I a Mormon many things come to my mind. The first and for most I think deals with the fact that I know there is a God in Heaven and he loves me. In fact he loves me so much that he gave me the opportunity to have a body, come to this earth, gain experiences and prove myself that I want to live with him, my elder brother Jesus Christ and each one of my family member for eternity. He has also given me the opportunity to be like him. Being a Mormon requires a lot of me as it relates to my dealing with those I come in contact with. I pray that I will always be a good example and never compromise those things I belief in.

How I live my faith

I love serving in my ward in any calling. During my 67 years as a member I have served in both leadership and teaching callings. At this time I have the opportunity to teach the 7 and 8 year old children how to chose the right (CTR) or the way Jesus would have us live our lives. I think Home Teaching is also very special and love to visit and teach families my leaders assign me. Because of these many different opportunities to serve and lead I have grown in many ways which I know Heavenly Father will use to bless the lives of his other children.
