Hi I'm Sara

I am from Utah and grew up in the church. I am a daughter of God who knows of his love. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a strong LDS community. My parents taught me from an early age that I am a daughter of God. I'm so grateful for my upbringing. How wonderful it is to know that I have a Heavenly Father who knows and loves each one of us deeply! I have been blessed abundantly in my life. I have a husband who honors his Priesthood, two boys that call me Mommy, parents who love me, and siblings whom I can rely on. I've made mistakes in the past and I do not claim to be a perfect person but I try very hard to follow in our Savior, Jesus Christ's, footsteps. I love spending time with family and friends. Among my hobbies and interests are cooking, scrapbooking, camping, crafting, piano playing and most of all spending time with my husband and sons,

Why I am a Mormon

I love knowing that wherever you go the LDS church is the same. Whether it be in Utah, Ohio, South America, Spain... it is the same. The same doctrine and principles are taught. I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and I believe it to be the word of God. I believe that God speaks to us through a modern day prophet. I am a Mormon because I have found peace in living gospel principles and in making and keeping sacred covenants with God. I love the plan of salvation and knowing that because of Jesus, I can live with my family in heaven in the next life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith wherever I go. I strive to be an example at all times. I'm a primary teacher for the 5-7 year old children and I love it! Children are the future. I love seeing their faces when they hear stories from the scriptures and learn about Jesus. I study the scriptures and say my prayers everyday. My parents showed my what it means to be a true follower of Christ. I gladly remember the countless hours of service they willingly sacrificed to help others. I believe that in life you just need to forget about your problems and help your fellowmen. Richard G. Scott, one of the 12 disciples has said: "Fill your life with service to others". When someone describes me I want them to say that I am a kindhearted person who loves to serve.
