Hi I'm Alejandra

I am from the Windy City of Chicago! I love my life! I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a college student. and I am the youngest of five children. I love to swim! Anything that has to do with water, I enjoy. Taking risks is one of my favorite things to do! I hope to have skydive, scuba dive and race cars. I enjoy doing anything that has to do with the outdoors. Music is a very important part of my life and hopefully I'll learn how to play the violin. Recently, I have made one of the most important decisions of my life by far, and I will be serving the Lord in his work for the next 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Lord and the His son Jesus Christ. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. It has helped me in my life get through difficult situations, and it has strengthen my faith in the Savior and the Father. The Book of Mormon has allowed me to better know the Lord and the massive love that He has for me. I can feel the love that He has for me through the blessings I receive. The extreme joy and calmness I feel, comes from when I chose to follow Him. That motivates me to keep moving forward, striving to good for myself and my surroundings. I know that my family is eternal because of the plan that the Lord has for us.

How I live my faith

I serve my neighbor. Any chance that I get to serve someone, I do it. Whether, it is opening the front door or helping someone paint their home. The small acts that we do for one another can have a great impact on our own or someone's life, whether we know it or not. The acts of kindness show the love of Christ. The love he has for each and one of us. Because of a small 30 second prayer that two sister missionaries did last summer, I made one of the biggest decisions I could make at the age of 18. I decided to serve a full time mission. The love and dedication that these sisters showed, allowed me to see and feel through them the pure love of Christ. The love and dedication and patience that they had for the people that they were teaching was unbelievable. I learned that with the love of Christ anything is possible. That one prayer, has changed my life. I want others to come to know of that immense love that the Lord has for us. I know that through missionary work, His children will come to know him and love him. I hope that by serving a mission myself I will be able to help others come unto Christ.
