Hi I'm Lindsay

I write my own music. I love to travel. I love watching movies. I love to sing and act. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I absolutely love singing, acting, and dancing. Almost anything to do with musical theatre I love. I play JV tennis for my high school. I love watching movies and going to the beach and Disneyland. One of my dreams is to travel the world. I love spending time with my friends and family. During the summer I love to swim and ride my bike. During the winter I love to ski.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ. I believe in his Atonement. I know that because of him I can start over again, and again, and again. I have felt his love and guidance so many times in my life. Christ is always there for me, no matter what happens. He understands everything about me and all the pain that I have felt. I also love Heavenly Father, and I know that he loves me for who I am, because he created me. I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon, and of the Restoration. I also know that families can be together forever, and that one day we can all be like God if we make righteous choices and repent. I am a Mormon because I want to live with my family, Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ again. I know that through the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints, I have felt true happiness.

How I live my faith

In my ward in Utah, I'm a MiaMaid in the Young Women's Organization. The Young Women's Organization is the place in our church for teenage girls ages 12-18. I'm the president of the MiaMaid class, which means I watch over and help the other MiaMaids. Sometimes I conduct meetings in my classes and have special responsibilities from my Young Women's President. My ward is very small, so there is only a few girls in my class, but I love to serve and care for them. They are some of my best friends. Everyday I try to read my scriptures and say my prayers. I talk to Heavenly Father and he comforts me. I go to church on Sundays and I try my best to live the commandments. When I make a mistake I use Christ's Atonement to repent. This is a very real thing to me. I go to school and try to be an example to them. I really am just a normal teenager following what I know is true.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon makes me very happy. We get to do fun activities in our Wards, with our friends, and with our families. We pray, read the scriptures, go to church, and do our best to become more like Christ everyday. Being a Mormon means you feel a lot of love. Everyone looks out for each other and we all are just trying to make it. Being a Mormon means that no matter what your circumstances, you can be relieved of your sin. Families are very important to us, and so is service, but most of all love. Show more Show less
