Hi I'm Wayne Thomas Watson

I was born and raised in a small town in Utah named Heber City. I am a Mormon.

About Me

With my wife, we are parents of 6 children and 21 grandchildren. I enjoy gardening, hiking, camping, reading and doing activities with our family. I am a registered nurse by profession and work in the healthcare field in the area of senior leadership in a large healthcare corporation. I love helping others and working each day in this profession gives me happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. This guides me in my daily life as I try to be a good person and help and serve others. I have been a member of the church since all my life and have never doubted the reality of a living Savior. I have learned about Him through my studies of the Bible as well as the Book of Mormon, which is a second testimony of Jesus and His teachings. This knowledge and understanding has helped me be a better person by putting into action what Jesus did and would do---to serve and help others in need. I love to be with our family. Our church teaches that the family is the most basic unit of society here on earth, as well as in heaven. As we strive to be good people and to help each other learn of Jesus and follow his path, as families our relationships can and will extend beyond death. This knowledge give me great peace and happiness, since I cannot think of a more wonderful existence than being with my family throughout eternity. All that is good in life and the life after death is because of Jesus Christ and His Atonement. I am thankful to Him and strive to serve His daily. I know that He lives, that He loves us and that we can become closer to Him as we learn of Him and serve Him by serving our fellow men.

How I live my faith

I enjoy vising others in our neighborhood and community by home teaching and seeking out those who may need help or assistance in completing a task or project. I have enjoyed throughout the years teaching and assisting the youth in camps, hikes and in learning life's skills as well as teaching them about our Savior Jesus Christ. I have also enjoyed teaching adults and assisting them in their needs and desires. Mostly I try to do good in helping others.
