Hi I'm Adam Mautz

I'm from Southern California. I love the beach, surfing, and hanging with my friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the middle of three siblings and a member of the best family on earth! I like to surf, play water polo, go to the beach, and chillax with my friends. I love technology and I often tinker around to make things interesting! I haven't the slightest musical talent but I definitely enjoying listening to music, especially when it's played by my friends. In high school I played water polo for the team and was also Vice President of the student body. I have a big family and love traveling to see them all. I especially love hanging out with my brother. We do just about everything together and have more inside jokes than I can count. I am currently serving a full time mission in North Carolina, and proselyting has now become one of my favorite hobbies! It is an incredible blessing to be able to serve a mission and to meet these wonderful people here. I look forward to attending college after my mission and then going on to law school where I can pursue my dream job of being an attorney. My ultimate goal is to have a family and to pass on the love that I have felt by my own.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have gained a testimony that its what I should be. Growing up as a member made it easy for me to attend church, but it didn't make it any easier to gain testimony. Convert or not, we all have to ask ourselves at one point or another if this church is true, and I did just that. The blessings that the gospel has brought into my life testify to me that this church is true, and I hope to bring as many people as I can to that realization while here in this life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being involved. Involved in studying the gospel, sharing it with others, and living the principles I learn. One thing that I have come to realize is that you cannot gain a testimony of anything unless you live it! By obeying the Lords commandments I have seen an incredible change in my life, and I have tried to let those changes increase each day. I know that it is by serving and loving others that we can live our faith, and I'm grateful for the opportunity that I have to do so.
