Hi I'm Faith Peterson

I am 18 years old. I recently graduated high school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am attending college during the summer semester, because I hope to be leaving on a mission for this church in the fall. I love music. I sing, play the piano, and the violin. I am a girly-girl but I don't mind getting dirty occasionally. I have two older siblings. One sister who is 22 and a brother who is 20. My brother is a special case though. He has autism. But, my sister and I have grown closer because of that.

Why I am a Mormon

I continue to follow the gospel, because it brings me the happiness, peace, and serenity that I need. I choose this lifestyle because it's the only way I want to live. I have more freedom because I obey the commandments. The guidelines of the gospel have set me free. I know that this gospel is true. I know that I can be with my family for eternity. I know that Christ suffered for all the bad and the good. He is my source of comfort. He is the only one who truly knows what you are feeling. He has lifted my burdens and He can lift yours.

How I live my faith

I read my scriptures every day, pray always, and go to church every Sunday. I try to serve my community as much as I can.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Faith Peterson
God has given me everything. 10% is only one slice of the pizza. I get the rest and all He asks is 10%? Ya. That's doable. I know that I receive blessings when I pay my tithing. Show more Show less
