Hi I'm Kevin

I'm from the Netherlands and since young a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday-Saints in the Netherlands.

About Me

I am a big sports fan. I love to do different sports. Until 2016, I did Irish Dancing for over 12 years competing both in the Netherlands and Ireland. I'm also doing a lot of speed cycling and I love to do different other sports like football and volleyball. Besides all the sports I like to play music. There are several musical instruments I play, but especially the Irish Whistles.

Why I am a Mormon

When my parents were baptised, I was only 2 years old. For that matter, you can almost say I was born in the church, so it's normal for me. But later when I studies myself and had to develop my own faith and had to choose if I still wanted to come to church and so forth, I gained my own testimony. I have experienced a couple of things that learned me that the Lord helps me and is beside me. By sincere scripture study and prayer I felt a good feeling in my heart. The gospel makes me happy and gives me hope.

How I live my faith

I have served in different callings in the church. Most of my callings consisted of teaching both adults and youth. I also organised several activities for teenage boys to help them in their faith and let them strengthen their relationship with each other. An other way to serve is home teaching where I visit a family together with someone else and try to help them and leave them a message. Beside the callings I live my faith by praying and reading the scriptures everyday and attend to both church services and church activities.
