Hi I'm Taylor

I grew up in Utah. I'm preparing for a mission in New York. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five. I come from a divorced family, but I have always considered that experience a blessing due to it's affect on my character. I was born in California, but I have lived in Utah for a little over half my life and I love it! Utah will always be considered my home. I am preparing to serve a mission in the New York, New York north area which is going to be a huge change from my small town girl persona, but I couldn't be more excited! My dream is to travel outside of the country and study other cultures. I am studying psychology as a major in school. I'm so excited for everything that life is going to bring me!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints makes me so happy. Following the teachings of the church have enhanced my life and I owe everything I have to the Lord. I have made plenty of mistakes in my life, as everyone has, but through the Atonement I have been freed from that sin. The Spirit of the Lord gives me strength and comfort in times of hardships and having that source of comfort has always been a blessing in my life. I was blessed to be raised in the church, but I wasn't converted at birth. I had to gain my own testimony through trials and successes in my life. Overall I wouldn't change anything about my life and I thank God for my blessings every day.

How I live my faith

Preparing for a mission is a big part of how I live my faith. I am preparing to leave my regular life behind to devote a year and a half to the Lord. Through studying the scriptures and other religious books I am learning more about my faith so I can teach it to other people. I attend church regularly and also make visits to the St. George temple.
