Hi I'm Baylin Bell

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 20 year old college student attending Brigham Young University-Idaho. I grew up in pocatello with my mom and dad and 3 siblings. On February 15, 2016 I got engaged to my favorite person in the world. I get to marry Kodey Johnson on April 9th, 2016. We will spend this summer in Alaska working. I enjoy singing, playing sports, and watching movies. I love my life, and I am excited about my future.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel brings me peace, joy, and purpose in life. I have received a witness that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church upon this earth. I cannot express enough the love I have for my Savior, Jesus Christ. He lived on this earth and performed the atonement so that we can all have the opportunity to return to live with our Heavenly Father. The atonement is real. It brings comfort in times of pain. It makes up for the burdens we cannot carry by ourselves. Christ has felt everything that anyone on this earth has or ever will feel. I testify that he walks with us in trials. We are never alone. He still lives! He is my brother, Redeemer, and best friend. I have read the Book of Mormon, and I testify that it is another witness of Christ. It is the most correct book. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a living prophet today. He receives revelation to lead and guide the church. He and all of the other leaders of the church have been called of God. I testify that Heavenly Father hears and answers each and every prayer. He loves us so much more than we could ever comprehend. I testify that His plan is perfect. It is a plan of redemption, families, love, and happiness. Families can be together for all of eternity. I love the gospel. I love my Savior and my Heavenly Father. I bear this witness in the name of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I actively participate in my ward and stake. I enjoy going to church every Sunday and going to ward activities throughout the week. I find that my faith is strengthened as I go to religion classes, attend the temple, and study my scriptures. I have found that I love sharing the gospel with those around me because my testimony of the restored truth is what brings me joy and peace in this life. I want everyone to have the opportunity to feel what I feel.
