Hi I'm Cory Wayne Carr

I am a missionary. I am an Alaskan. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading long books, playing the piano, and water sports. I strive everyday to be better than I was the day before. I was born in Spokane, WA and lived there 'til the week I turned 12. We moved up to Alaska and have been there since. I am currently serving in the Scottsdale, Arizona Mission and am loving it. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the great Plan of Redemption that has been made known through our beloved prophets.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true and restored church of Jesus Christ our Lord. Through the prophet Joseph Smith, and his associates, the authority to act in God's name, also know as the priesthood, was restored. Another testament of Christ's divinity was brought forth to stand forever as an undeniable proof that God has not, and never will, stop communicating with His children here on Earth. I know that because of Him we can be with our families forever, as well as be joint-heirs with Him. I am a Mormon because the Holy Spirit has whispered to my heart these eternal truths and has testified of them over and over.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping others and doing a good turn daily. I live it by following the Commandments of God. I live my faith and religion on my sleeve, as an ensign to all I meet that I am a disciple of Christ. I know that as we live the best we can with all we have, we will be blessed. I also know that as we accept The Son of God as our Savior and Redeemer that we can and will feel that peace that comes from living the Gospel.
