Hi I'm Emeryn

Born in the Salt Lake Valley. Currently serving in the great white north, Canada Edmonton Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born of goodly parents I have been fortunate enough to grow up in this gospel. Giving me a great knowledge of the goodness and the mysteries of God. Never have I claimed to be perfect but it is something that I work towards. I graduated from Kearns High School class of 2010. I did some general studies at SLCC, but decided to put that on hold to work on my mission papers and save some money for it. I love spending time at home with my family. But for the time being I'm enjoying the call to bring the blessed message of the restored gospel to my brothers and sisters here in the Canada Edmonton Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I made a decision, a covenant with my Heavenly Father that I would come to this earth and prepare myself to enter into his presence again. The only way I know that to be possible is through our savior Jesus Christ his atonement and his restored gospel.

How I live my faith

On 16 August 1992 I was born to two young teenage parents, whom, because of worldly sorrows were not very active in the church. But through the love of other family members we attended church quite regularly. My dad finished schooling and we stayed at home with my mom. We had lots of challenges and trials leading up to it, but my dad was offered a scholarship to play football at Northern State University. There we were welcomed by members of the ward in a small town of Aberdeen, SD. We were blessed to find faith and activation in the gospel once again. I and my older brother were baptized by our Dad, and we were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple for all time and eternity. Life was great and we saw so many blessing in our life because of the faith and obedience to the covenants we had made with our Father in heaven. It's crazy how the pride cycle works, sometimes it happens with out us even being aware. As trials came pouring down on us, testing our faith at every whit, we didn't know how to cope with or handle it. So once again we found ourselves inactive and complacent in the gospel. I spent most of my youth and a bit of my young adult life trying to figure out what it meant to me to be a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I reminisced on the desire I once had to serve a full time mission. I knew there were some things I needed to talk to the Lord about so I humbled myself before him and asked what I needed to do with my life. I got an overwhelming feeling that I needed to rekindle that fire I once had to serve a mission. So I started my papers saved up some money and prepared myself as best I could to serve Wherever I was called. So with this abridged continual conversion story I now live my faith by trying my best everyday to utilize the blessings of the atonement. I am now serving a mission because I have developed my own testimony of the love God has for us and I want to share it with anyone who will listen.
