Hi I'm Stephanie

I love traveling and humanitarian service. I am a Registered Nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a beautiful valley of Utah. Academics motivated me early in life. I graduated high school with my Associate's Degree. I then pursued my dream of nursing and graduated as a Registered Nurse. I love all aspects of nursing. Helping people brings me a joy that I cannot attain in any other way. I feel close to the Savior when I serve others in need. My dream is to travel the world and provide humanitarian aide. This traveling adventure began after high school graduation when I served in the orphanages of Ecuador. Those precious children of God are kept forever in my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. Why? Because I have a testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It is the true church of God as was established in the time of Christ. I was born into a Mormon family and have been taught the truths of the gospel from a young age. As I grew I realized what I believe had to come from me, not just foolishly following the traditions of my fathers. And so I found out for myself that I do believe in this gospel. The spirit has confirmed to me personally the truth. When I read the Book of Mormon, pray, attend church, and listen to modern day prophets I am filled with such peace and joy that there is no way I can deny that this is Christ's true church. I know we are God's children. I know he loves each of us individually. I know God wants us to be happy and by following his commandments we can obtain that happiness.

How I live my faith

I attend a young single adult ward full of amazing people who motivate me to be better. God is putting to use my love of service in my current calling as Compassionate Service Coordinator. My job is to help any member of the ward who is in need...spiritually, emotionally, or physically. This requires a lot of cookie baking and prayers! I have also spent several months as a teacher for the women in our ward. I loved preparing lessons and drawing close to the spirit as I prayed for inspiration.
