Hi I'm Danny Meza

I was born and raised in Texas. Graduated from Ryan High School. I'm serving a mission in Scottsdale, Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Texas. So I am big sports fan! I love the Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and Dallas Mavericks. I love playing football and baseball. Country music is in my soul, can't go a day without listening to it. Here in town we have a few lakes that me and my brothers and friends love to go fish and swim. I went to a Texas 5A school. Throughout high school I was involved in Athletics, Choir, Student Council, Student class offices. I will be attending Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah fall of 2016. I hope to be able to Major in Business.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the church since I was just a child. My whole life being taught the truth in this gospel. I am extremely grateful that I know the truth of who I am. I have had doubts before about if there really is a God. Without the gospel I am sure that I would not be as happy as I am today. My Heavenly Father has given me so much, I am eternally grateful for Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice. That is why I strive to be like him every single day. I know I am no where near his perfect example. He gave his life for me, the least I can do is give him my best.

How I live my faith

Ever since I've been 8 years old the church has been very involved with Boy Scouts. This has been a tremendous blessing in my life. I have gone through many different experiences that I wouldn't have gone though if it wasn't for this program. Countless service projects, the many merit badges that help teach necessary life lessons, and not to mention the support of all the youth leaders. Some of the most memorable and enjoyable activities I've been involved in has been our trip to Cap rock Canyon in Texas. There we camped out for several days and throughout the days we went horseback riding. In order to go on trips such as these, the youth have several fundraisers, service projects in order to go on these adventurous trips.
