Hi I'm Kayson

I grew up in the church. I could not imagine my life without the gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from high school. I played in the marching band on drum line. I'd always push myself when in doubt, or if I fell behind. I love being social. One of my favorite things is to have breakfast with my friends. We just get together to eat crepes or pancakes and just laugh! When I spend time alone I enjoy playing puzzle or platforming based video games.

Why I am a Mormon

If I wasn't a Mormon, I know I wouldn't be happy. There are sometimes when I am on the verge of depression, but I have found by praying to God I receive comfort. This comfort has gotten me through so much. I see it in other peoples lives to. Also everything fits together. I haven't found one strand of teaching that goes against another. All of the pieces fit together. I don't know how this gospel couldn't be true. If we have faith, and give Jesus Christ our efforts, he will return us with blessings tenfold.

How I live my faith

When I was younger, I loved helping out my friends. It made me extremely happy when I made them happy. As I grew older, I found loving kindness is one of the key points in the church, and it made me want to help others more. I try to go out of my way to do little things, because I have grown to know, through my personal experiences and others experiences, that doing little things can turn out huge in the long run. It doesn't always, but once is enough to make it worth all of the effort. I have decided to dedicate two years of my life to serving the lord on a mission, because that is how important this gospel is to me. I have tasted what it feels to have doubts grow inside of me about the gospel. I didn't know until I came back that I am always so much happier with the gospel.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Missionary work is a very voluntary service to help spread the love of Christ throughout the world. It is highly recommended for a worthy young man to serve, but the wonderful thing about the gospel is it leaves us our own free will. Show more Show less
