Hi I'm Allie Hansen

I'm from Georgia. I'm a Writer, an Artist, I love Swimming and Camping and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Nevada but grew up in Georgia with my loving family, my mom and dad, older sister and brother. I've grown to love writing fictional novels since I was a child. I love drawing then went into pottery through high school and still do it for fun. Scrap booking is something I have taken on for the fun of it, being able to capture those great moments. Music is a major part of my life as well, waking up to music blasting in my house knowing a great day was about to start it makes everyday feel amazing. I truly believe music is what bring the soul true happiness because I have seen it in my own life. I have grown up in the church but haven't always been active but my family helped me though those hard times so I could become the person I am today and the Gospel played such a important part of my life to help me discover who I am, without it I don't know where I would be. And Now I am serving a mission to help others find that light like I did.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up with the Gospel and have always felt the need for it in my life even though I didn't always realize it. The teachings of Jesus Christ have become more important in my life as I have grown up. Without them I would fall away to having no understanding of life and most of all true happiness in a troubled world. I know the church is true, I know Jesus Christ died on the cross for us and because of him we will live again too. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of the lord and The Book of Mormon is true and also teaches us many things about our lives and who we are. I know The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church of our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have always loved service and helping others in need. It's hard to describe what it feels like when you have helped someone with something so little like helping put their groceries in their car. It's the feeling of knowing you have done something good for someone else that will keep it in their heart. That's what I look forward to while I serve in the Idaho Pocatello mission.
