Hi I'm Jennifer Kimball

I'm a dreamer. I'm a performer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born and raised in the state of Utah, I love to sing, dance, play the piano, and read. Starting September 3, 2014, I will prepare to preach the gospel in the beautiful country of Sweden. When I return I will continue my college education at BYU Provo where I am currently majoring in History. After finishing my undergraduate work there I plan to attend law school. I also love to study languages and have studied Spanish and Russian. Soon I will be able to add Swedish to my list! I love to try new things and challenge myself, and baking is another favorite pastime of mine.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to have peace. The world is a very scary place to live in right now, but with the influence of the gospel in my life I can be protected both physically and spiritually. I know that if I stay true to the teachings of the church that I can be happy and lead a fulfilling life, as well as shape myself into a better person. I have a strong desire to see and live with my Heavenly Father and Savior again someday, and the gospel is the means by which I can fulfill that wish.

How I live my faith

I have had many great opportunities to serve in my ward at home and my single adult ward at BYU. At home I have served as a leader and teacher over the young women, and at BYU I had the opportunity to serve as the ward chorister during sacrament meeting. Because I love music so much this was a great blessing to me to be able to lead my fellow brothers and sisters in singing praises to the Lord. I have also had the opportunity to share my musical talents through singing and playing the piano for special holiday programs and musical numbers. I participated in leadership positions in National Honor Society throughout my high school career, and I loved knowing that my work was all for the benefit of the Lord's children who stand in need.
