Hi I'm Ashley Nelson

I grew up in the small town of Driggs, Idaho. I am a fitness grad from BYU-I, I want to help kids stay fit and I am a mormon.

About Me

One of my new found hobbies is writing about my life and sharing it with others. I started writing because after graduating from collage, I had a lot of time on my hands. Me and my husband have been able to explore and get the most out of life. Because of these experiences and life lessons, I have wanted to share this with others, so I started a blog. I didn't just start a blog to only inspire others, but to also have a record of my life, so me and my family can look back on all the memories we have had together. For more About Me and what I am all about please go to my blog link on this profile.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is the only thing that makes sense to my life. When I read the Book of Mormon I feel the spirit, I know it is true and that the teaching in them are true and from our Heavenly Father. I know that our Prophet Thomas S. Monson is called of God and he is a tool to help direct us in our lives. To help us know right from wrong and to be an example of what happiness truly is and how to reach it. I know that when I pray Heavenly Father is listening and that he want's to help me with my trials in life. I know that serving others helps me feel the pure love of Christ and being a member of this church gives me so many opportunities to serve others. I know that by being married in the temple my family will be sealed together for eternity and all the blessing I will receive as well as my family and that gives me so much comfort. To know that loved ones that have pass on I will get to see them again one day. I know that this church is true, it is a pure and holy gospel, it guides you to happiness and the way back to our Father in Heaven. I love this gospel.

How I live my faith

Me and my husband attend church every sunday. We are teachers to 3 year olds. We get to teach 7 of the cutest kids every week. The lessons we teach the kids every week are things that we are grateful for that our Heavenly father has given to us. For example one week we taught about our noses and how Heavenly Father has blessed us with our ability to smell. Because of this calling I have learned so much from these little kids and I am so grateful for this chance to teach them. My testimony has grown so much because of it. Reading the Book Of Mormon has also become away for me to live my faith. The Scriptures teach me so many life lessons that help me to become a better person in the this life. Without the scriptures and the stories that are told in them, I do believe I would struggle to find happiness in my life with. I am so grateful that at the age of 8 I decided to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Dat Saints. I feel the blessing of my Heavenly Father daily.
