Hi I'm Rebekah

I'm from central New York. My family is from all over Europe, and Native American. I have degrees in Fine Arts and Illustration.

About Me

My family tree includes people from Spain, Italy, Ireland, Wales, Germany, and other countries in Europe, as well as some Native American people. My Spanish and Italian ancestors have had the most impact on my family's traditions, especially our food. My family means more to me than anything in the world, aside from my faith. Education is also important to me. I've always tried to do my best in school, and I have two Associate's degrees, one in Fine Arts, and one in Illustration. Next to Faith and Family, my 5 greatest loves in life are Kids, Cooking, Art, Travel, and Music. I grew up in the church, with a Mom and Dad who love and support me. I've been very blessed to have them as my parents, and to have the Gospel in my life. I want to share the blessings of the Gospel with those who haven't had the opportunities I've been given, so I am going on a mission in July!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but staying faithful to the promises I've made to God can be tough, especially in today's world. Trust me, being a member of the church will not make life's challenges go away. I was often teased in school because my standards of speech, behavior, and dress were different from my classmates'. But my family and my faith gave me strength, and I've felt the blessings of the Gospel in my life. This church has brought more peace, love, and joy to my life than anything else, and I hope I never forget it.

How I live my faith

I'm far from perfect, but I try to follow Christ's example in my life by keeping his commandments, serving faithfully in my church callings, and being and example to the people around me. I'm naturally shy, so talking to people about the church can make me nervous, but I always try to answer any questions people ask me about it.
