Hi I'm Maddie

Born in Utah, serving a mission in Washington, Mormon

About Me

I am studying to be a teacher. I have been since the fourth grade, when I would sit my sister down and teach her what I learned in school day. I love reading. I don't really have a favorite genre, I just read about anything. My favorite thing to do outside is rock climbing. I could do that all day. I am going to college, and I love it. Everything from learning new things to meeting new people. I love to travel. Car, Plane, Boat. I just like to go new places.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel, as were my parents. They were great examples to me and my sisters. I have enjoyed the youth programs and made a lot of friends and served a lot of people. I work hard to be strong in the church every day by doing service for whoever I can. I am a Mormon because I want to be with my family for eternity. They are my best friends, and I can't imagine forever without them. Thanks to my parents being sealed in the Temple, I don't have to worry about that.

How I live my faith

In my ward down at school, I was the 'Ward Program Specialist', which is just a fancy way of saying I was in charge of the sacrament meeting program that had all the speakers on it so everyone knew who was talking, and in what order. I was a visiting teacher with my roommate to a couple of girls in my ward. We visited them every month and served them, or just talked.
