Hi I'm Jarom

I grew up in Utah. I love to play all sports, especially basketball. I am serving as a missionary in the France Lyon Mission.

About Me

I grew up in a family that loved sports. I am the second oldest of 5 kids all of them boys! I grew up playing basketball, baseball, and soccer, but my favorite sport is basketball. I played for my high school team and I loved it! I am planning on attending BYU to study accounting and entrepreneurship and then starting my own business. I am going to leave of my mission to Lyon, France in a few weeks and I am so excited! Some of my hobbies include: basketball, baseball, football, soccer, hiking, biking, camping, kayaking, canoeing, watching movies, hanging out with friends, rappelling, climbing, reading, telling jokes, and going to the temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this religion makes me happy. Keeping the commandments and guidelines in this gospel result in so many blessings for me and my family. I can handle stress better because of the church and I am always happier because of my knowledge from this church. I know Jesus Christ lives and that he suffered for every single person's sins. Not only did he suffer for our sins, but he suffered for all of our pains, temptations, sicknesses, and sadness. He is our perfect example and I love to be able to look to Him whenever I need help. I know the Book of Mormon is true and I know that I can liken its' teachings to myself. I love the opportunity to share this gospel with others because I know how happy I am because of it and I want to make others happy too! I know this church is true, and I will never deny it. Although I make mistakes, I know that I can turn unto Christ and if I am faithful I can be forgiven.

How I live my faith

I participate in my ward by attending weekly youth group activities. We do activities ranging from service projects to having a games night, but it is so much fun to get together with some of my best friends in a fun and safe environment. I have the opportunity to plan campouts and activities for my age group and I also have the opportunity to visit those that are in need of cheering up. I love the opportunities and the friendships I receive due to my membership in this church.
