Hi I'm Santi

I was born and raised in Utah. I enjoy basketball and the Gospel. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I enjoy almost anything in the outdoors, as long as it's warm. My favorite thing to do is to go to Lake Powell with my family for a week and play around with our boat. I just graduated high school in May of 2014. I am probably one of the biggest basketball fans around. I enjoy watching college basketball, with no set alliances anywhere, and I enjoy rooting for the Utah Jazz, event though these past few years have been painful.

Why I am a Mormon

I enjoy the gospel more than anything else in this world. I know that it is the true church. I was born in the faith, and have continued because of my love for it. At first it was just because my parents went and they made me go. But as I have grown up it has become more of a thing for me than for them. There are things that I have learned, that have helped me through the hardest times in my life. Knowing that Christ is always there for us whenever we need Him is an incredible truth.

How I live my faith

I enjoy being a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It has brought so much happiness and joy into my life. Each week I go to Sunday School and learn more about the gospel. I have served as a youth leader for the young men in my ward, and have helped teach others through home teaching. I really try to show my faith through my actions more than my words. My dad always taught me that actions speak louder than words. I will be serving a mission in Mexico Querétaro for two years.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Members of the Church are always looking to help others. We look to Christ's example in this. During Christ's time on Earth he was always looking to help those in need. Many examples of healing, blessings, and miracles have been recorded. The best way to know if we help others, is too look to your neighbors. There are probably persons that are Mormon in your neighborhood, and I´m sure that they are out helping others frecuently. Another way is the work of a missionary. The missionaries are always helping other people in their service, and they help encourage the members to help with service as well. Show more Show less
