Hi I'm Scott

I grew up all over the United States. I love all sports and just being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student majoring in Computer Science. I love learning how to program and all the different codes out there really interest me. I hope to become a developer for a tech company after I graduate.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church by my parents. At a young age I began to fall away from the church and did not believe that church was necessary. After about 3 years of inactivity I didn't like the person I had become and realized that I was my happiest while I was regularly attending church services and activities. In returning to the church I learned that the people of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints truly believe and follow the word of God to the best of their ability, and through their example and the joy I saw in their hearts a desire grew in me to have that same joy as well as to set that same example for others. I was able to gain a personal testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel by reading the Book of Mormon and sincerely praying to know of the truthfulness of the gospel. I received my answer one night with a feeling of sheer joy, unlike anything that I had ever felt before. I am thankful for the atonement of Jesus Christ and the opportunity I have to serve my Heavenly Father. I know the church is true and I'm grateful for the happiness it has brought me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by setting a good example for those around me, and sharing the gospel whenever the opportunity arises. Through the church I have many opportunities to serve the community. I do my best to take those opportunities every chance I get. By serving those around me I have been able to gain a strong testimony of the power of service and how it can help bring joy to others.
