Hi I'm Ryan

I am a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I am recently graduated from High School. I am an EMT dreaming of medical school. Currently I am serving a two-year mission in Papeete, Tahiti speaking French and Tahitian. I feel so blessed to serve the people of all of French Polynesia. Heavenly Father has blessed my life so greatly. I serve him so that everyone can know of the blessings received from our loving Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

Not only was I raised in the gospel, but I know for myself that this is where I am happy and comfortable. I have come to the understanding that the teachings and standards of the church are completely accurate and meant to help us keep the commandments and covenants we have made with our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Leaving to serve a mission was one of the most difficult decisions in my life so far. I was intending to attend college immediately after High School to get a head start on my long journey to become an orthopedic surgeon, which I have always dreamed of. It has been very difficult to leave my family, whom I was very close with. I would have never left my family and friends if I didn't know for a fact the truthfulness of this gospel. This gospel has brought so much happiness and clarity in my life, that I want this happiness for everyone. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to represent the LDS church and to serve in the beautiful land of Tahiti. "A missionary leaves his family for two years so that others can live with their families forever."
