Hi I'm Sister Kristell Mondragon

I am serving a mission in Ft. Collins Colorado, and loving it! :)

About Me

I am a convert to the church I was baptized when I was 16 years old. I had a hard time at first to know if the church was true I had to really think and pray about it and not just make a quick decision. I know without a shadow of a doubt that this is the church of Jesus Christ. I love to draw I do have to say that I am not very good at it, but I love it. I love everything that has to do with art. I love instruments. I played the Trumpet for about 6 years I am a little rusty now, because I have not played it for a longtime now. The color red is my favorite! I am a Mexican and proud to be one. I was born in Villa Hermosa Tabasco, Mexico. Sports and really anything outdoors is the best. Music is really important to me I love to sing out loud even though I do not have a "singing voice" . I need to move around and be active! I talk a lot. Family is important to me also they keep me from falling. I love God and Jesus Christ. I know that I am loved by them and I know that by following Jesus Christ and his example I will continue to have joy in my life. Oh and something very important about me is that I LOVE Mexican food!

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this Church is true, and I know that I am Loved by my Father in Heaven. I prayed to my Him to know if The Book of Mormon is true, and I received an answer that it is true. I know that we have a prophet today who leads and guides us. Prayer is a powerful thing we are literally talking to God, and he hears us and he responds to us. This religion is not only a Sunday thing it is a way of life and the way that we are able to return to our Father in Heaven. He wants us to live with him again. I know that this is the truth. I cannot deny it, and will never deny it. I will forever remain faithful and will hold on to the Iron rod in the tough times and the "easy" ones too. God loves me, and He loves you too.

How I live my faith

I live my faith how my Father in Heaven wants me to live it. It can be hard at times, because a lot of my family are not members, but Christ is there to help.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Sister Kristell Mondragon
Prayer is very important. Prayer is simple and always effective. Our father in heaven wants to hear from us. Even if it is only for ten seconds. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Sister Kristell Mondragon
No, but because we know it is true we want to share it to everyone. :) Show more Show less
