Hi I'm Karen

I am a Mormon and I love being a Mormon!

About Me

I have been a member of the LDS faith my whole life. I spent most of my formative years in the South Pacific islands of New Zealand and Hawaii. I am married to my college sweetheart and we have four grown children and twelve grandchildren whom I adore.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a loving family with parents who were members of the church. My father is a convert and because of my mother's influence, he joined the church and he and my mother raised me in the gospel where I gained a testimony from their teaching and by their examples. I love the gospel and I am grateful to be a member. The church is true and it allows me the opportunity to live what I know to be true so that I can return and live with my family in the presence of my Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to be an example of my faith by how I live and treat those I am around. I have had many leadership opportunities in the church that allowed me to serve those that are not of my faith. I love to especially work with the youth. My husband and I are currently preparing to serve a mission for the church in New Zealand and I know that it will be a growing and learning experience for me as I learn how to better teach the gospel and how to let others know that I have a testimony.
