Hi I'm Alana Henry

I am a college student for theatre. I love all sports and play many of them. I love music and go to concerts. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I go to Oklahoma City University for Stage Management. I love all music except bluegrass and reggae. I have gone to concerts all my life and it's a wonderful outlet for me. I love sports, watch all of them, play football, soccer, softball/baseball, and volleyball, but have never been to a professional game (yet). I am a convert to the church and I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

My family had never been very religious but I always felt as if it was something that I had been missing in my life. I looked into many different religions, trying to find one that I felt was true and right. When I started asking my friend about being Mormon and he set up an appointment with the Elders for me. As a listened, read, and learned, I prayed about it constantly. I needed to know if this was right, if it was the correct one. I waited for what seemed like forever but once I got that feeling that has always been undeniable, that gut feeling, the chills, etc, I knew of was right. I was baptized on May 24th of 2014 and I have never felt more complete. I read every chance I get and it brightens my day.

How I live my faith

I have just gotten a calling to be an Extractor for Family History (May not be the exact name for it). I decipher old documents and type the information from it so family's can finally have the documents that could possibly lead to more family members.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Alana Henry
Even if you are just curious about the church, you can still come. There will be people that notice that you are new or just visiting and will come up to you and introduce themselves. Feel free to ask questions. Even if they seem like a tiny question that you don't think you should ask, please ask. Any and all questions are important. And if they cannot answer it, they will definitely help you find someone who can. Show more Show less
