Hi I'm Conrad

I'm a Quark-eating, Power-hungry, lover of the Mississippi. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've played piano for a while, and I picked up viola when it got hard. Music is amazing! My favorite seat in the concert hall is in the orchestra. I took German and French in high school, and love the languages a lot. I want to study more languages like Swedish, and Japanese. I had a lot of opportunities to travel while I was young and could never resist packing up for another adventure! Scouting has been really important part of me. Many people don't appreciate how much it can help us to feel accepted and valued. It helped me to come closer to my family and feel successful. A lot of the leadership skills helped me to feel like I can actually help other people. Throughout my life I have loved acting, even though I get awful stage fright. getting over my fear was challenging, but I have benefited from it in a lot of ways, I would have never discovered my love of Classical music, had I given up.

Why I am a Mormon

The book of Mormon helps me to feel at peace. When I read it I feel Gods love and guidance showing me how I can improve my life and the lives of those around me. He helps me to be the best I can be, and told me that I should go on a mission. He has a plan for me and loves all of his children. I feel the warmth of His love, and know, through the Spirit that this is His Church. The spiritual and physical guidance to me is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Everyone needs a friend. I have struggled through a lot of my life, as most do. Problems come frequently in this life. Faith is the determination to overcome trials. Heal wounds. Save lives. Overcoming problems is part of His plan for us. Because Christ came, we will have every opportunity to grow and change, into something more than imperfect. He loves us! and will help us to become like Him. For a long time I looked at life as an opportunity to gain power, money or fame. People in TV are living lives we can only imagine! They have real fun right? As I actually thought about it, I realized that I was happy, even though I didn't have money, fame or power. I still want to be successful, don't misunderstand me, but I realize now that they are not the source of happiness. As humans, and children of God, happiness comes from relationship. Our relationship with God, Family and the Human Family will make us truly happy.
