Hi I'm Deano Motes

I like to laugh, play skeeball, and eat cheeseburgers. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I like sports, football, wrestling, watching hockey with my brothers. But if I have any free time you might catch me just hanging out with my friends finding the most unique ways to entertain ourselves. Trying our best not to get caught up in any mischief... not always succeeding, but always striving to do whats right. I haven't attended a university yet but when i am finished with my mission i plan on going to San Jose State University to play football. I love my family and friends, they are a testimony to me that god loves each and every one of us.

Why I am a Mormon

I have gained a testimony of the restored gospel by living it. There is always going to be temptation around us and unless we live righteously we will never be able to know from experience why we need to follow Christ. I have come to know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true as I have done all I can to live the standards of the Church. And I have been blessed, I have seen God's hand work miracles in my life. God loves all his childern and will help us achive the potential he has instilled in all of us. There have been people along the way that have helped me gain my testimony that I know God put in my life to help me get to the point where I know that god is aware of my trials.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by particapating in service projects, and doing my best to try to be an example of what the gospel can do for you. I often take the sacrament to members of our church who are not able to attend because of health problems. I know that serving others is one way that we can be an answer to other peoples prayers. I'm also grateful for my parents in helping me serve, my mom is always volunteering me to help people around the neighborhood and in the church with thing they couldnt do by themselves. Even though I might complain a little bit I was always willing to help cause I am grateful for all my mom does for me, this has helped me gain perspective on the attitude that we must all have when we are doing things The Lord has commanded us. Because we are grateful for all he has done for us.
