Hi I'm Wesley Geddes

I love sports. I love movies and icecream. I love to serve. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hello! Right now I am serving in the Canada Toronto Mission. Every day I strive to come closer to Christ. I strive to become the person God wants me to be, my future wife would want me to be, and my future kids would want me to be. Every day I set the best example I can for my posterity. I love Family History Work. I love technology, and the wonderful things we can do with it! I love to serve others. I love laughing, its the greatest thing ever. Most of all, I love my Savior Jesus Christ, and my Father in Heaven. They are the perfect examples. It is because of Jesus Christ that I am able to be forgiven of every mistake. Its because of Jesus Christ that I am able to become the person that God needs me to be. It's because God sent His Son.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know it to be true. I know that Our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ restored Their church through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know it to be true. I've come to know through reading the scriptures, and through praying to God. I've come to know through the power of the Holy Ghost. It's real. God is there. Jesus Christ lives. The Holy Ghost is a wonderful blessing to be able to have.

How I live my faith

As of right now I am serving a full-time mission. I have been "Called to Serve"! I get to go out every single day and represent my Savior Jesus Christ. I get to help others come to know Him, and the love that He has for them.

In whom should we have faith?

Wesley Geddes
The Church has a statement that goes: We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost. A lot of people get it wrong by saying the first principle is Faith. It's not! It's Faith in Jesus Christ. He is our Savior. He's the one who has made it possible for us to return to our Father in Heaven. Show more Show less
