Hi I'm Paul Evans

I was born and raised in Bountiful Utah. I have been called to serve my mission in Thailand. I am a lacrosse player. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated high school and am now about to leave for the Bangkok Thailand mission. I will serve faithfully for the two years and when I return I will start college on a pathway towards becoming an oral surgeon.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the LDS church all of my life. However the decision to serve a mission came much later. I decided that I was going to serve a mission after my oldest brother returned from his. I did not completely understand the reasons for him wanting to serve, but when he returned and I had the opportunity to sit and talk one on one with him about it I felt a spirit I have never felt. It was a very strong impression so I prayed to my Heavenly Father if serving a mission was what I was supposed to do. I had an overwhelming outpouring of spiritual reassurance that I needed to serve. Since then I have watched two more of my brothers leave and return from their missions and whenever I think of their missions or mine I have that same feeling I felt as a child.

How I live my faith

I the most senior member of the youth in my ward. I currently serve as the first assistant to the Bishop.
