Hi I'm Miranda Beames

I'm a Utah Hunter/Farm girl who loves to work outside, but loves to get cleaned up every now and then. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love being outdoors! I have been Rifle Elk hunting since I was 12 years old. I have been shooting guns since I was a little girl and I love everything about it! I enjoy Camping, hunting, fishing, mudding, four-wheeling, boating and pretty much anything out side. Now that doesn't mean I don't like to get all dressed up for a fun date to the Theatre. I have done theatre since my Jr. year in high school. I have always had a love for the Arts since I was really young. Thanks to my Aunt. :) Random facts about me is I eat a lot of cereal and I'm really strong hahah Also during my first year in high school I played soccer but got 2 concussions and didn't go well with mamma bear so had to stop. I also love riding horses from going on fun trail rides to running them in wide open places. I love my family soooo much and would give anything for them! I am also currently serving a mission for the Lords church in the Mississippi Jackson Mission and have grown a love for the people here in the good ol' South that I never thought was possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm not a Mormon because my parents are or because my friends are. I have had to find out myself if this is the true church. I remember when I turned 18 and the next Sunday my mom told me that I could come to church if I wanted to. I was old enough to choose on my own. I didn't go and for a good bit I didn't, I stared to notice in my life was full unhappieness and I didn't like it. So I went to church and when i partook of the sacrament I relized that it was my healing that I needed every week. I relized that each day I went out into this wicked world I was getting beaten down and my spiritual armer was getting distoried and I need the sacrament to pound those dents out. I have read The Book of Mormon and done what is has told me to do in Moroni 10:3-5 I have prayed and asked God our Father if the book is true and the Holy Ghost has confirmed to me that it is. I'm not saying this was easy to find cause it wasn't but I knew that I needed to find out for myself.

How I live my faith

I think Brigham Young said it the best. "There is neither man or woman in this Church who is not on a mission. That mission will last as long as they live, and it is to do good, to promote righteousness, to teach the principles of truth, and to prevail upon themselves and everybody around them to live those principles that they may obtain eternal life." I try and do my best that is all God asks of me! :) There is a Quote by Joseph B. Wirthlin that explains how I live my faith. "Let us walk in the right direction, taking one step after another. That is easy enough. We don't have to be perfect today. We don't have to be better than someone else. All we have to do is be the very best we can. Though you may feel weary, though you sometimes may not be able to see the way, know that your Father in Heaven will never forsake his righteous followers. He will not leave you comfort-less . He will be at your side, yes, guiding you every step of the way. It is my testimony to you that you will be happy and content if you only do your best!"
