Hi I'm Jaymee Albos

I believe in being happy. I am currently serving a mission in Italy- the first Filipina to serve there. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born of goodly parents, I am the eldest of three. I am 20 years old. I have lived in the Philippines my whole life. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary in the Italy Milan mission and I am the first Filipino to be called to in that country. I love music, theater and the arts. I enjoy listening to people, knowing their stories, and writing it down on a piece of paper. I enjoy serving others through the talents that I have been blessed with. I know that Heavenly Father gives us gifts to share it to others and help uplift the world.

Why I am a Mormon

Although my grandparents and my parents are members of the church, I decided to join the church when I was 8 years old and made the decision to be baptized because I know that this is the true church. I have asked the Lord in prayer to know and I have felt the assurance of the truth through the Holy Spirit. There have been many times when I've questioned my identity, but knowing the gospel made me realized who I am and who I can become. The gospel helps me to become better each day, to serve others, and to love as the Savior would.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being what God wants me to be. I have chosen to take a year and a half of my time to serve the Lord by being a full-time missionary. Being on a mission helps a lot because our main purpose is to "invite others to come unto Christ" and we got to live it everyday. As missionaries, we are focused on this purpose, all day, every day, for a year and a half. For me, living my faith means I trust in the plan that I know Heavenly Father has for me, and that everything I do, is helping me get closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ.
