Hi I'm Candice Hall

I am from Utah, I am a daughter, I am a CNA, I am currently serving the as a missionary in the Texas Houston South mission.

About Me

I am a sophomore in college studying nursing. I work full time at a nursing home as a CNA and I love my job and helping others. I love theatre and music. I love my family. We like to do outdoors activities and play games. I am currently serving a mission in Texas. I love my mission and the people I meet everyday!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this gospel to be true. Through prayer and the Holy Ghost I have come to know for myself of the truth. I know that Joseph Smith restored The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to this dispensation. Through the God he translated The Book of Mormon and the Bible. The Book of Mormon is true. It testifies of Christ and his time spent in the Americas'. Jesus is the Christ. He suffered in Gethsemane and on the cross so that his atonement could be fulfilled. Through the Atonement we can become clean, healed, and strengthen. He lived, He died, and He lives again, even today. Each of us will have this same opportunity. I know that I and all those who live on this earth are children of God and he loves each of us. President Monson is a modern day prophet. He leads this church by inspiration from the Lord. Through person experiences I have gained this testimony and know it to be true. I continue to live this gospel because it makes me happy. Happiness is always a choice and through the atonement we can be happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings and the temple. I love my calling as a visiting teacher and the visiting teaching coordinator for my young single adult ward. Each month I get to talk to the women of my ward as I find out the number of women who are being taught.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Candice Hall
Choosing the serve a mission is voluntary and is between the individual and the Lord. Serving a mission is a blessing. It is a blessing to be able to share what makes us happy with the world. Missionaries serve where they are called sometimes to other continents, countries, or states and may teach in their native language or learn a new language in order to teach more effectively. Most missionaries learn and grow throughout their missions and feel very blesses for this opportunity. Show more Show less
