Hi I'm Caitlin

I'm a Texan. I'm a writer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am what is called a poor college student majoring in Creative Writing and minoring in American Sign Language. I'm currently in the process of writing a couple novels for young teens. And before you ask, they are of the scifi/fantasy genre about young women who suddenly have very heavy responsibilities thrown at them. I'm an avid reader; I really want to start my own little library... Also, I'm a bit of a geek. When I say a bit, I mean I'm a ginormous geek! I am a huge Whovian and BBC Sherlock is pretty much my life right now. My family are big movie people, so if you are fluent in movie quotes then we would get along great!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints thanks to two missionaries who knocked on my grandparents door when my mother was seven. 19 years later I can say that I know that in this world full of hardships, this gospel is what gives me peace and the happiness to keep going.

How I live my faith

In my calling, I have the opportunity to serve the women in my ward and I have never felt this much love for those around me before! I love being able to help and serve when someone needs me. I work every day to be worthy of the responsibilities I hold.
