Hi I'm Rachel Cheadle

I am from Minnesota. I love to sing, act, love, and laugh. I'm going to serve the Lord in the Chile Osorno mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 3rd child of 7. My life is a musical. You may think I'm joking...but it really is. My house is nonstop singing and dancing and having a good time. I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My mom is a convert to the church and my dad's parents were both converts as well so we don't go back very far but that doesn't stop us one bit! My little town consists of one LDS family--and that's mine! I am so excited to serve the Lord in Chile for 18 months. I am truly blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy! I love the Gospel because I have seen Heavenly Father calm and lift me in times of trouble and trial and felt His love more times than I can remember. I'm a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and know that He loves me too. Some days it is really hard because daring to be different sometimes means standing alone---but standing alone is much better than standing in the wrong places and with the wrong people. The thing most people don't realize, however, is that being Mormon is worth it! Nothing is more rewarding than serving others with acts of kindness---big or small. These acts of service are a major part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Being a Mormon allows me to find happiness and peace in Christ everyday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by talking about it! From a very young age, I have been a talker. I talk about all my favorite things...so of course I talk about my faith! I live my faith by daring to be different. A lot of times, the people that surround me have different opinions or morals than I do. This means that sometimes I choose to stand alone. I know, however, that with God by my side, I am never alone. I live my faith by trying my best to be the best example of Christ-like love to everyone I meet, but especially my family.
