Hi I'm CJ Bell

I grew up in Idaho Falls. I love basketball and being a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a missionary in the North Dakota Bismarck mission. I'm an avid outdoors man who loves fishing and hunting. I've been on many fishing trips that I've caught many big fish on. I love playing all sports and love to do anything that will challenge myself. I love to learn and was valedictorian of my graduating class. I have a sister who has a rare disease called Rett Syndrome. She does not have function of her extremities and cannot talk. She has been like this since she was around the age of two. Having a sister who has this has had my parents focus more of their attention on her care and has allowed me to become very independent. I love working with anyone with a disability and find it a joy to do so. I am serving a mission in the North Dakota Bismarck Mission right now and am loving all of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I love every facet of this gospel and strive to understand it more completely each and every day. I've read the Book of Mormon many times and I know with a surety that every single word inside is true. I want to become more Christlike because of it. Many scriptures I hold dear to me because of different spiritual instances I have had. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and did restore the true church back to the Earth again in these latter days. I know he was given the correct priesthoods and keys needed to maintain the necessary functions in the church needed for salvation. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true latter day prophet and I sustain all the other general authorities as such. I know the Book of Mormon is a true book with all of my heart. I know the temple is the house of God and that we can come closer to him through regular attendance. I love this gospel with every fiber of my being. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending all of my sacrament and priesthood meetings. I'm going to/ currently serving a full time mission because I truly believe in my faith with all of my heart, mind, and soul. I participate in ward functions and different activities put on by the ward or other members inside of the ward. I love going home teaching and love the different families I get to know and understand and serve. Service is a big part of my faith and I love being able to help those who need it. It makes me think of the Savior and his entire life being devoted to service.
