Hi I'm Ryan Landes

I've lived in Utah my entire life . I have been blessed to have always been surrounded by the LDS church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Ryan. I have 7 siblings in my family including me. I have a fraternal twin brother who I get along with very well. I completed 2 semesters at BYU-Idaho majoring in Computer Information Technology. I have always enjoyed baseball. I was a pitcher for my high school baseball team. I'm just about to serve an LDS Mission to Toronto, Canada.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. The principles taught in the Mormon faith are very crucial. Some principles we live by are to not smoke, drink alcohol, chew tobacco, or be immoral in our way of life. I've seen families be sucked into smoking or drinking and their lives seem to be full of sadness. They waste money on petty temporary pleasure when the risks are immense. I love knowing I can receive help when I need it from my fellow brethren at church. I feel such a strong spirit when attending church and the Lord's Temple. Being a Mormon makes life easier and more enjoyable.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending weekly church services. I've had many wonderful service opportunities. Many of those opportunities came from Boy Scouts. I organized a service project pertaining to my eagle rank, by labeling a few hundred chairs for the LDS church. The youth in my ward would help the elderly in time of need by shoveling the walks and driveways of there homes from snow in the cold winters. Now being older, I help my father hometeach families untill I leave to go on my mission.
