Hi I'm Larry

My wife and I have been happily married for 44 years and are blessed with 7 children, 28 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild.

About Me

Following a mission to Finland I attended university and received a BA in business management and a juris doctor (law degree). Rather than practice law however, I decided to go into the family business, which was very rewarding on many levels. After 38 years I retired and turned the business over to my sons, in order to serve a mission with my wife, Anne, to Ukraine and Russia. Since returning home we have occupied our time taking care of a large garden and small hobby ranch, raising cattle, llamas, goats and chickens. We have also been blessed to serve a great deal in our local temple and in various church callings. But our greatest joy comes from our family, particularly our grandchildren. We are preparing now to serve another mission in Finland.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon, but that is not enough to keep a person actively engaged in the church. Through personal study, prayer and application of gospel principles I have received a firm and deep testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Religious faith if it is real affects every aspect of a person's life. It is truly a 24/7 proposition. In addition to formal church callings we have enjoyed many opportunities to interact with others. Family history work has always been an interest and now that I have the time, it has been a true blessing in my life. I have even enjoyed teaching family history research essentials in a local school. I love sharing my spiritual and temporal blessings with others.
