Hi I'm Kayla

I love to smile. I will be serving in the Russia Moscow Mission. I love to be adventurous. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my first year of college and will be serving a mission in the Russia Moscow Mission. I am so excited to teach people about the truth of the gospel and the happiness that it will bring into their life. I love to be happy and the gospel gives me great reason to rejoice. Some of my interests include traveling, running, humanitarian work, snowboarding, cooking, exercising, laughing, hiking, music, playing tennis, eating, anything involving Christmas, and going on adventures.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the happiness and hope that this gospel brings. I know that because Jesus Christ died for us, we can always change and become better. He is there for us no matter what and will give us strength if we seek for it. I love the purpose that the gospel brings into my life, as it helps me realize why I am here on this earth and what I am working toward. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the church that Christ established, restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. I love the Book of Mormon and I know that through the Book of Mormon Heavenly Father can answer our prayers. I have come to know that the Book of Mormon is true through prayer and I know that anybody can also come to know that it is true. The gospel helps me know that I will be with my family for eternity. I can't think of anything better than that. The gospel makes me happy and helps me to be a better person!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be like Jesus Christ and being an example to the people around me. I strive to make the gospel who I am, not just something that I do on Sunday or when it is convenient. I read my scriptures and pray daily to draw closer to my Heavenly Father and Savior and to remind me of the things that I need to do. I try to attend the temple as regularly as I can and love the peace that it brings. At church I help teach the primary children and have absolutely loved that. They have such sweet testimonies and love their Savior. I live my faith by trying to do what I know my Heavenly Father wants me to do. I know that as we do what He wants us to do, He can help us to become who He needs us to be.
