Hi I'm Emily Gee

I am a student, an etch and sketch enthusist, a bookworm. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I attend college, and when people ask me what I want to do, I don't know yet. I want to learn everything, and try new things!

Why I am a Mormon

I love taking comfort in the fact that I have lived before, and have somewhere I'm going. Life doesn't begin and end here, loved ones can be seen again. It is only with the Savior's sacrifice, that is for all mankind, I can become a better person and learn from my experiences. If you look for Jesus Christ, he is always there. "Seek and ye shall find me, knock and the door shall be opened unto you." That promise I can happily assure you is real!

How I live my faith

I teach class in my ward on Sundays, and I love to visit the women that I get to visit teach every month. I read the scriptures, that are so full of truth and examples that I can see in my life. I try to follow the Savior's example daily.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

Emily Gee
We believe that our bodies are a gift from our Heavenly Father, and that we should treat them with care. We also have the amazing gift to make our own choices. The least we can do is treat our selves with respect in what we partake of, especially if those substances limit our choices, or are addictive. For example illegal drugs, alcohol, tobacco, coffee, and tea. Heavenly Father promises that if we obey this law, that we can "run and not be weary, and walk and not faint." Show more Show less
