Hi I'm McKay

I grew up in Queen Creek Arizona, I love music, sports, and I'm going on my mission to Boise Idaho! report to the mtc june 18th!

About Me

I have many hobbies but my main ones are music and sports. I love to play instruments like the marimba, piano, and just about any other percussion instrument I can get my hands on. My favorite sports have been baseball, basketball, and wrestling. I also love to read, go camping, and do water activities like tubing. The school I went to was Perry high and I'm about to go on a full time mission to Boise, Idaho. I report June 18th and hope that I can further the work of the church through my efforts. As far as colleges go I will probably go to a community college to start and then go to BYU Idaho to study music, economics, or whatever appeals to me after my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love my faith. I grew up in the church but I've always had a strong testimony of the gospel. I love the friends I've had growing up in the church and I've even enjoyed all the times me and my friends have done service for others. Through the church I have learned a lot and have made many friends, I've always loved the spirit I've felt whenever I've gone to the temple or church as well. For these reasons and more I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I like to live my faith through service. I've lived it a lot through scouting and my church callings. My biggest act of service has probably been through my eagle project. For my eagle project me and my fellow scouting members worked on Founders park which is a park that's right across the street from our town hall. For this act of service we planted about fifteen trees and spread ten tons of gravel to make it look nice. It was hard work but it felt good to do work for my city and church.
