Hi I'm Logan Thomas Frew

I am 18 years old. I grew up in Auburn California. I will be serving in the Washington DC South Mission in August. And im a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in Auburn California. I am the fourth oldest of 6 children in my family. I have just recently graduated from high school this year and with be going away to college this summer. I am a very active person that enjoys a variety of different activities. Some of these are playing basketball, football, exercising, fishing, waterskiing, weightlifting, camping, eating, and boating. I also love to hangout with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in an LDS home and for my whole life I attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Growing up I was basically dragged to church every Sunday. I didn't like going to church at all, in fact I kind of hated to go. And at this time I had no appreciation for church because I wasn't sure if was true or not. However around my sophomore year of high school I decided I needed to find out if this church was true or not. And so in order to find out I began to read the Book of Mormon every day. After I read it on my own from cover to cover I knew there was something very special about the book. And upon reading it again a couple of more times I came to know that not only was the church true, but that there is a God today and that Jesus Christ really was the son of God. I also grew a testimony of the atonement. That Jesus died so that we could be forgiven of our sins if we repent and come unto him. I know that my life has drastically changed after reading this book. And I would encourage all those who have not read it already to do so. And after you have read it, pray to God to know if it is true or not as it has been said to do in Moroni Chapter 10. And I know that whoever does this with a real intent to know the truth will have it be made known unto them by the holy spirit.

How I live my faith

For past four years of high school I attended an early morning seminary class every day before school at 6:20 A.M. This was a great way for me to start my day off right and has been a major influence in helping become the person who I am today. I also participate regularly in church meetings every Sunday and attend the church youth group. One of the best ways I have decided to live my faith is by serving a mission. I have been recently called to serve in the Washington DC South Mission and will leave August 20 of this year for a period of 24 months. During this time I will help others come to know of our savior Jesus Christ and the atonement he made for us.
