Hi I'm Jeffrey Brown

I am the youngest of seven kids. I love photography. My family means everything to me. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have grown up in Utah my whole life in a family of seven kids. I have five older brothers and one older sister. After struggles in ninth grade of depression I overcame it, to see the hand of Christ in my life. Photography is my life, and helps make everything in life simple and happy. My family is everything to me, and is my foundation. I love the water. I love boating, tubing, and wake boarding during the summer. Hiking is what I do every week when the weather is good with my sister-in-law. We hike all the time, and enjoy every moment of it. I have played the piano for over ten years, and continue to learn more. Music always makes me feel better, and I listen to it constantly. My family loves sports, so we are always out hitting a ball, and shooting some hoops together.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church my whole life in a wonderful family. My family is really close, and the gospel has kept us like this. I have learned many lessons in the church, and continue to do so. I see all the Lord has done for me and those around me, and I couldn't imagine a life without this gospel. I continue to be a Mormon because I know that this church is true. I know that without it I would be lost. I have been blessed so much and I give that all to Christ. I was saved because of him, so I could become clean again, and return to heaven. I know this Church is true. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and that he restored the gospel. I know that President Monson the only true prophet on this earth today, and that he was called of God. I know the power of prayer, and that the Lord listens, and will help you. I know the power of the atonement of Christ and that he loves me. I know that this gospel is true, and will bless everyone. The church is my life, and I live to serve it to bring others to the happiness, because I have been given so much, and that this is something I can do to show my love.

How I live my faith

I live my faith, as a true disciple of Christ. Having seen the continual hand of the Lord in my life, I continue to turn to him and serve him. I live life by being an example of Christ, by sharing what I know. Serving others is a great opportunity, and I just love getting to know new people. I am very outgoing and caring, and I want everyone to feel what I feel. I share my faith with others so I can show them the beauty, and knowledge of what my faith can do for them. I preach the gospel to anyone, and help others. I help others as much as I can, because everyone needs some help in their lives. Regardless of any differences between others and me, I still do what Christ would have me do.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Jeffrey Brown
I believe family is essential for us on earth. God sent us to a family to help us become better, and also for us to help them. Coming from such a big family I see the blessings that we have, and how great it is to share my life with them. Families are a huge part in everyone's life, and they help us stay close to the church, and grow closer to God. Show more Show less
