Hi I'm Rachel Beebe

I was born and raised in Sacramento, California. I am a Mormon convert and proud of it..

About Me

I enjoy sports, the outdoors, and taking care of kids. After high school, I turned town scholarships to attend BYU-Idaho. I attended college there for a year, moved to Utah while taking online classes for an additional year. I nanny for a family of 5 kids to save money to serve the church as a missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a convert, I have more of a choice to be a member of the church. My family did not always go but when we did, I liked it, the people, and the environment. During my high school years, I decided to attend church more, I could understand it better and I could feel the spirit. I knew that the gospel was something I wanted in my life because no matter what happened I could always talk to our Heavenly Father through prayer and He could help me get through anything. I have noticed when I follow the teachings of the church I can make good decisions that benefit me in my life and for my future. I have also noticed I am happier with myself, a positive influence, and nice to others. All in all there is an improvement in my life and I have never felt this close to Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

Being a nanny I often like to talk about Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ with the kids, I read them books and try and teach them, why we are here and who put us here. I also help out at church, teaching the younger kids basic principles of the church, being an example for the young woman especially by giving them advice and support, and I enjoy participating in activities that our church puts on for everyone.
