Hi I'm Andrea

My name is Andrea and I am a Mormon.

About Me

In my spare time you will frequently find me going for a run, reading a book, or working on an art piece (watercolors are my favorite). I love spending quality time with others. I think one of the most rewarding things is being able to connect with another human being and understand how they feel and what their passions and pursuits are. I am a good listener.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ is about love, growth, and coming unto Christ. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's church restored to the earth. The Book of Mormon is the keystone to this religion because it is another testament and witness of Christ and contains the fullness of the everlasting gospel. The prophet Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon through the power and gift of the Holy Spirit. Today, we are led by a prophet called of God to receive revelation and guide His church. I know all these things are true because of the spirit's confirmation to me. In Moroni 10:4-5 we learn that if we ask in faith, having a sincere heart, you shall know all truth. Our Father in Heaven loves us unconditionally and wants the very best for us. He is always there for us in any time of sorrow or need. Life throws us lots of uncertainties and afflictions. if we turn to Heavenly Father and do as Moroni councils us, He can reveal absolute truth to us through the spirit. I also know that Jesus Christ atoned for all the sins of the world. I know that it is through His grace that I am saved. Grace is an enabling and a spiritual power. It not only allows us to be forgiven off our sins, but takes away our sorrow, pain, low self esteem, negative thoughts, addictions, anger, and suffering and transforms us. It is through grace that I can be the best version of myself that I can be and live a wonderful life

How I live my faith

I live my faith by not only attending church meetings on Sunday, but also giving service to friends, loved ones, and community members throughout the week.
