Hi I'm Kaline Maples

I love spending time with my family, watching movies, playing tennis, and hanging out with my friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California and then moved to Idaho shortly. We moved around a lot when I was little. The last 9 years I've lived in Utah though, and I love it! I have a big family! We love lots of sports, but tennis especially. I love spending time with them. We are all spread out in different states so we try to visit as often as we can. I graduated from Fremont High School last Spring. I've spent the last 6 months working as a dental assistant and I leave shortly to serve and LDS mission in Milan Italy! I'm so excited to serve.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I Mormon? Well it's not just one thing. It's a whole lot of things! There is the feeling I get when I share my testimony or hear someone else's testimony. There is the testament of truth that I receive when I read the Book of Mormon and the joy that comes from singing a hymn. I love this gospel, it all feels so right, and that's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love this beautiful gospel! I love attending church every Sunday. I really enjoy being a part of the church choir and attending Sacrament every week. When I was in high-school I attended a class called 'seminary.' This was a class that I had the opportunity to attend during the school day. It was a positive environment where we could learn more about the gospel and our savior Jesus Christ. This really helped me grow and become who I am today! It was such a great impact on my high-school life! My senior year of high-school, President Monson changed the age that young men and young women had to be to serve a mission. The Sisters of the church could now serve at the age of 19. I would be turning 19 that next summer. I just knew that my Heavenly Father wanted me to serve a mission. Now in 2 weeks I am heading out to serve an LDS mission in Milan Italy! I couldn't be more excited.
