Hi I'm Shacari

I grew up in a small town in south central Utah. I love basketball. I also love my family! I am a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing the piano and have since I was 7. I love spending time outside. I also recently got married!! I love my job as a phlebotomist and love being able to help people. But my most favorite thing to do is to be with my family! I love my family so much!!

Why I am a Mormon

As a 3 year old girl I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Through my life, I've had a few challenges with this diagnosis. However, that meant that at a young age I had to be very tough. But it wasn't always easy being tough and sometimes it still isn't. At a young age I learned the value of faith because of this. Faith that the next day would be better. Faith that one day this affliction that I have now will be gone in the next life. The testimony I have because of this is full of thankfulness. Thankful for the lessons I am able to learn, and thankful for the trial that has been placed in front of me.

How I live my faith

In my ward I play the piano for the primary kids. Watching the kids in the primary learn such valuable songs bring such a strong spirit. Those songs have such a special message. My favorite primary song is "Scripture Power" and "I Love to See the Temple". I am glad I have a the opportunity to be a key part in learning such songs!
