Hi I'm Nathaniel

I love music, surfing, and laughing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I really like music, my friends say that I mostly like alternative or pop-punk, but I say that I like everything and generally listen to everything. I somewhat know how to play piano, guitar, ukulele, and drums. I have been in 2 bands, in one I was the vocals and the other I was the drummer. In sports I really like soccer, rugby, lacrosse and surfing. My favorite would be a tie between soccer and surfing; soccer is just really fun to me and surfing (even though I've only been once) gives you such a great feeling when you catch a wave and is so fun. I was a part of debate in high school, I debated policy. It was an interesting experience but, the friends and memories you make there are priceless. I love humor, having a good sense of humor is amazing. In life we will all had hard times but always being able to laugh and have a smile is one of the best things you can do.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 5, my father died. This caused a lot of stress and hardship for my family, I mostly remember the fact that a lot of people were really sad when I was a kid and really tried to make people laugh. But sadly that still lead to depression for me. One day I decided to pray and ask God if he was really there and if the LDS religion was really the true religion. I received and answer by the spirit so strong and so loving that I now have no doubt that the LDS religion is true. I know that we all will be able to see our families again and I know that we have a Heavenly Father that loves us all and can't wait for us to be back in heaven with him. I know that even though days may be rough and times will seem extremely hard to go through our Heavenly Father created a plan for each of us, and that he sent the world his only begotten son: Jesus Christ to come to this world so that he may know how to help us more fully and atone for our sins. I am a Mormon today because, Heavenly Father has personally helped my life and I know that he loves me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving every day to be better than I was yesterday. I realize that even though I am not perfect, I make mistakes daily, that we should learn from those faults or falling moments and later in life build it so that we are better and proud of who we become and are striving to become.
