Hi I'm Trevan

I love my homeland with all my heart. Simply an Idaho guy with aspirations of seeing the world. I'm an adventurer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an ambitious guy of 19 who has been called to serve a mission in the Belgium/Netherlands mission. I have been an avid musician my whole life with over 13 years of piano experience, and with it continue to teach myself to sing and play the ukulele. I have followed college football since the day I could walk and am a die hard BYU fan at heart where I will be attending college in the near future. I have been blessed through hard work and have been employed with the great company of Nike, Inc. for a year and plan to develop a future career in these bright years to come.

Why I am a Mormon

Being able to recognize the Lord's hand in all aspects of life has led me to the knowledge I have of Him today. I love that I must endure to the end. I cannot simply make it to the end or live to the end, but rather I must endure to the end. With this, I am promised trial and tribulation of which I will not desire in the slightest. But I know that He does not give me hardship that I can not overcome through Him. I have been blessed with trials. I have been blessed with hardships, with shortcomings. But from it, I have enjoyed the most perfect happiness that the sensation of success can manifest. The Hand of miracles works among us. This Church has enabled me to recognize Christ love for all and the life he led that we may be perfect in Him. I have come to this knowledge independently through the Holy Ghost. I have a testimony of Joseph Smith and The Book of Mormon. I know that what is written upon the plates are true. I know that it was not possible for a bad man to write such a book. And I know any good man would not have written such, had he not be directed by God to do so. Because of the people I have surrounded myself with in this life, those with the highest of standards, work ethics, and levels of compassion and love, I can follow in Christ's footsteps easier. I testify of strength through faith and endurance. I testify that through Christ's atoning sacrifice to make us all whole, faith in Him will rise to the occasion when our hope seems to fall short.

How I live my faith

Who I am with my fellow man shall only be that of which Christ would approve. I dedicate my heart and soul to His true Church and want nothing more than to be like Him. Honesty with others is only key action with how I live my faith. Being considerate and aware of others and their circumstances allows me to be honest in such a way that lying or cheating seems difficult and hindering. I hold a church calling of a ward missionary with a ward denoting an area similar to a neighborhood. Alongside many others with the same calling as me, I reach out to the community, inviting and informing people who I am, what I believe, and how they may come unto Christ. I live my faith by being an instrument in His Hands to bring the His truth to all who seek and need his deliverance. At only 19, I have seen the Hand of miracles at work. I have seen others come to Christ and be one with Him. With the experiences I have, I am able to teach those around me and be a Christ-like follower. Faith can always grow. I try to live by this concept and continually strive to improve myself each and every day.
